Browsing this website
This site has no account registration, contact form or on-site checkout. Its hosting services process connection data to deliver and protect pages. Following an email link opens your email app; following a download or purchase link to Payhip takes you to a separate service.
This website’s own code uses no analytics script and sets no cookies.
Netlify hosts the website and delivers its pages. Netlify processes connection information, such as your IP address and requested URL, to deliver pages. That technical processing is separate from information you choose to send us. Our purpose in using hosting services is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website.
Enquiries, purchases and support
We receive your email address and the information you include when you contact us. We use it to answer your enquiry, discuss requested services and resolve file problems. For enquiries about a purchase, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract. For other correspondence, it is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We use order and accounting records to meet legal obligations.
Payhip collects the information needed at checkout, including your email address, order details and the billing or location information required for payment and tax. Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but we need a contact address to reply. The required checkout fields are needed to fulfil your order. Please do not email card details or confidential client information.
Free downloads and optional emails
The practice cases and files hosted here are available without an account or email address. The free BA Quick Reference Cheat Sheet is a separate download delivered by Payhip (Payhip Ltd, London), which asks for your email address to send it. The free 30-day plan PDF needs no email address. Payhip processes that address to deliver the download, on the basis of taking steps at your request. If you opt in on Payhip, it also sends our marketing emails, on the basis of your consent. A download, purchase or enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. See Payhip’s privacy policy.
To withdraw consent, use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or email contact@baaicollective.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Order receipts and replies to support requests are service messages, separate from marketing.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept while your question or requested follow-up remains open. For support records, the relevant criteria are whether the file problem has been resolved, whether a dispute or claim remains open, and whether the record is needed for that claim or for accounting. Company tax records must generally be kept for six years from the end of the financial year they concern, with longer retention where required for an open tax enquiry or other legal obligation. See the company record-keeping rules. These requirements can mean some records remain after an erasure request.
Payhip states that it retains transaction information for ten years for EU VAT purposes for digital products. Its retention periods are separate from our correspondence and accounting records. Hosting log retention is controlled by the hosting providers; the website does not set a log-deletion schedule. Contact us about retention of a particular record.
Marketing contact details are used while consent remains in place. After withdrawal, only the information needed to record that choice and prevent further marketing is retained for that purpose. Records needed to demonstrate consent or resolve a complaint are kept for as long as that obligation or complaint requires.
Service providers and overseas processing
Our website processor for hosting is Netlify. Its technical services are separate from Payhip checkout and our email correspondence.
Payhip handles paid purchases and delivery. It collects checkout details such as your email address, order, billing or location information and IP address, and makes customer and order information available to us for delivery, support and record keeping. Payhip identifies itself as a controller for its own service in its privacy notice. We are responsible for our use of customer information and marketing choices. Payment providers collect payment details separately under their own notices; neither this website nor Payhip collects your full card details. Our email service processes messages you send to contact@baaicollective.com.
Netlify’s privacy notice describes where its services process data and the transfer safeguards it relies on. Contact us for details of the arrangements that apply to our hosting.
Payhip describes EU server storage and possible transfers outside the EEA in its notice. For details of the arrangements covering your order, correspondence or hosting information, including a copy of relevant safeguards, email contact@baaicollective.com. Provider notices do not establish the specific contracts or retention settings for our accounts.
Website storage and practice answers
The payments exercise works in your browser and does not send your answers to us. Saving is off by default. If you enable it, the record stays in that browser until you remove it using the exercise controls or clear browser storage. Files you download remain on your device until you delete them.
Payhip has its own cookies and privacy information when you follow a product link.
Your UK GDPR rights
Depending on the purpose and lawful basis, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and object to direct marketing at any time. You also have rights concerning solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The practice exercise does not grade you or make such decisions.
Email us to exercise a right. We may need information to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension is needed, we will explain why. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data-protection regulator, whether or not you have contacted us first.
